Indian Union Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office V. Narayanasamy on Sunday welcomed the Tamil Nadu government’s denial of permission for a Mu’l’li-vaaykkaal Genocide remembrance public meeting by the Naam Tamizhar Iyakkam (NTI), which had invited the Kashmir separatist leader Yasin Malik, in Cuddalore on Saturday.

Speaking to reporters, the Minister said the NTI chief, Seeman, was openly supporting the Tamils, Mr. Seeman should have been arrested for displaying banners and posters of LTTE chief Prabhakaran.

The party had held an indoor meeting in Cuddalore after it was denied permission for a public one.

Answering a question, Mr. Narayanasamy said the Tamil Nadu government should keep a watch on his activities.
