India will not take any hasty decisions on the Sri Lanka issue but will take steps based on the resolution passed at the UNHRC, an Indian minister has said.

The Union minister of state in Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) V. Narayanasamy has told reporters that the central government of India is closely monitoring the situation in Sri Lanka and will take all steps for the safety of Tamils in the island.

Narayanasamy has said that the Centre would not take any hasty decisions on Sri Lanka.
