Indian minister in Sri Lanka


Indian Commerce, Industry and Textiles Minister Anand Sharma will visit Sri Lanka from today to August 5 coinciding with the prestigious India Show – Land of Limitless Opportunities organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in partnership with the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce from August 3 to 5 at BMICH, Colombo.

The India Show is supported by the Commerce and Industry Ministry, India High Commission and India Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF). The minister will be accompanied by a high level official and business delegation.

The main features of the India Show are a three day exhibition at BMICH, visit of ministerial delegation, visit of high level business delegation, business conference, meetings, a cultural evening and a gala dinner.

Minister Sharma will inaugurate The India Show on August 3 with SL Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa, Industry and Commerce Minister Rishad Bathiudeen and International Monetary Cooperation Senior Minister Sarath Amunugama on August 3.

The India Show brings together over 105 companies from India for the exhibition.
