The Sri Lankan security service intelligence operatives are keeping a close watch on around 1,000 Tamils who have released from detention camp after the war and are currently engaged in family life in the North, Jaffna sources said. Jaffna area Sri Lankan army officer General Hathurusinghe said that the TID officers have already rounded up 48 Tamils. He added they were taken into custody after investigations and that they will be routed to military detention centres for necessary action.    ]]>
