Mano Ganeshan’s Democratic People’s Front, has confirmed that their members will not participate at the Tamil Eelam Support Organization (TESO) conference, to be held in Viluppuram, Chennai in mid-August, DPF statement said.

The TESO conference will be convened by former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi.

The Lankan parties that have confirmed participation are, the Tamil National Alliance (TNA), Dr. Vickramabahu Karunaratne’s Nava Sama Samaja Party and the Siritunga Jayasuriya’s United Socialist Party.

The DPF party members have met in Colombo on Thursday and held discussions about the TESO conference. Then they took this decision and call for an all-party conference to support Eelam Tamils sources said.

Meanwhile, the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka has rejected the visa application presented by the Leader of the New Sama Samaja Party, Dr. Wickremabahu Karunaratne to visit India to attend the TESO summit scheduled to be held in Chennai on the 12th.
