Two Sri Lankan Sinhala officials who were to Goa in Tamil Nadu to attend an international conference have been sent back because of protests from Tamil organizations.  The two Sri Lankans who were sent back from the conference in Karunya University were the Vice Chancellor of the Uva Welassa University and an official of the Central Environmental Authority. Having learnt that two Sri Lankans were participated at the seminar,  representatives of the Thanthai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam, assembled at the university premises and protestsed at their presence. Thereafter the two Sri Lankans were sent back to Sri Lanka.]]>
