A group of Tamils detained by Indonesia in a Western Sumatra island are vowing to continue their fast until they are freed and allowed to proceed to Australia. According to BBC Sandeshaya, the group of 53 was nabbed by Indonesian authorities on Septmeber 04 while on their way from Tamil Nadu to Christmas Island. Their boat had stalled after running out of fuel and they had been stranded at sea for 10 days.
