The SL government commenced a two-day workshop for all the heads of the Lanka’s diplomatic missions in Diyathalawa yesterday. Among other matters, the diplomats were briefed on steps taken to prevent war crime charges and implement recommendations made in the Lessons Learnt and Reconciliation Commission. Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa addressed the envoys on the government’s foreign policy.

Around 70 heads of the Sri Lankan’s diplomatic missions who are attending the workshop visited the construction site of the Hambantota International Airport on Friday (06).
