A Tamil National Alliance (TNA) parliamentary delegation has tabled the post-war problems faced by the North and East Tamils at the Tamils Protection Conference that commenced in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Thursday. The TNA delegation which is led by Jaffna district Parliamentarian, Mavai Senadiraja, comprises Parliamentarians  M.A.Sumanthiran, C.Sritharan, P.Ariyanenthiran and C.Yogeswaran. The Kuala Lumpur conference will discuss the problematic issues faced by Tamils worldwide and will adopt a resolution in view of the protection of Tamils, sources said. According to TNA sources the delegates of the Alliance will present papers on the safety of the Tamils in the North and East in the post-war scenario, which would include the recent issues such as the arrest of Jaffna University students, prolonged detention of Tamil political prisoners, and the alleged land grabbing activities in the North and East.  Delegates from the UK, India, Singapore, Canada, Myanmar, Japan, Mauritius and Brunei are participating at the Kuala Lumpur Conference, sources said.]]>
