Two Sri Lankan army officers were killed this morning following an accident involving their vehicle.
Colonel Ravindra Hadunpathirane and a Lance Corporal were killed while a Major was also injured in the accident.
The police said that the jeep they were travelling in met with the accident at Thabowa in the Puttalam area.
